Quick Read: Short Aspire Flexus Q Review:
Positives
- The Flexus Q has super fast charging with USB Type-C, charging up to 80% power in just 10 minutes!
- Easy to switch between MTL and RDTL and great airflow control and amazing flavour and from both coils.
- Cheaper price than its rivals without compromising on performance.
Negatives
Some leaking around pod cartridge itself, but nothing out of the ordinary for a vape pod.
The RDTL is more restricted than other devices. We found the Flexus Q works better as MTL, especially with the 0.6 Ω coil.
The low power mode is not strong enough and the high power mode sometimes spits. The mouth piece also gets quite hot with extended draws.

1. Cost
The Aspire Flexus Q vape kit costs just £19.99 and also comes with two AF mesh coils and a pod cartridge as part of the kit. This makes it cheaper than rival vape pods like the Uwell Caliburn G2 but provides similar performance.
If you buy your Flexus Q vape pod from Eco-Vape, simply add a BEAR nic salt, extra coils and an extra pod cartridge to your order and enjoy FREE UK delivery when you spend over £20!
2. Coils & Flavour
Aspire’s AF mesh coils are designed specifically for the Flexus Q and are available in two resistance options, both included in the kit.
The 1.0 Ω mesh coil is ideal for MTL (mouth to lung) vaping, providing great flavour and moderate clouds. It’s great for subtle vaping, travelling and in the car.
The lower resistance 0.6 Ω coil is great for RDTL (restricted direct to lung) or MTL vaping, and we found it provides better flavour than the 1.0 Ω with slightly reduced durability due to the extra power going through the coil.
3. Performance & Vape Style
The Flexus Q is designed with easy-to-use airflow control, with a simple side switch that lets you choose the perfect airflow for your vaping style.
The easy access switch lets you quickly change between MTL and DTL and can be easily accessed with the same hand when holding the device. The button feels well built and is very responsive, with almost instantaneous firing.
You’ll enjoy the options of both auto draw and the fire button, with the latter allowing for finer control of vapour production.

4. Power & Battery
The Flexus pod features three different power levels (low, medium and high) and the selected power setting is clearly indicated using its coloured LED lights.
The most innovative feature of the Flexus Q is its ability to charge to 80% power in just 10 minutes with its fast-charging USB Type-C port. This makes it very convenient and easy to charge whilst on the go and in the car.
Once fully powered, the internal 700 mAh battery lasts up to 3 hours of moderate usage and around 2 hours of heavy use.
5. Design & Quality
The device is lightweight yet feels strong and well built. Crafted with a zinc alloy material, the Flexus Q can reliably survive moderate drops, knocks and bumps though the casing can pick up scuffs and scratches quite easily – so take care not to drop it too often.
Like most vape pods, the Flexus is pocket sized and easy to carry making it perfect for casual vaping, travelling and on nights out.
The pod itself had some very slight leaking around the sides of the cartridge after a few hours of use and refilling, but nothing out of the ordinary for pod devices. It did not leak through the device itself.
The zinc alloy material not only looks sleek and modern, the styled metallic lines are also ergonomic and comfortable to hold.
The pod cartridge is a dark transparent colour which looks great, whilst also allowing the user to see how much e-liquid is left in the 2ml tank.
Summary
The Flexus is a no-nonsense vape kit that covers all bases. Its key selling point is its ability to recharge to 80% power in just 10 minutes, which means less waiting and more vaping.
It’s a flexible device, offering easy airflow control that can switch between MTL and RDTL vaping.
We found the restricted DTL is quite a tight draw, so we recommend using it mainly as an MTL device. That makes it a great option for all-day vaping for beginners and experienced vapers.
The Flexus AF mesh coils are great, but the lower resistance 0.6 Ω coil is by far and away the better of the two.
It provides fantastic flavour as both RDTL and MTL, and lasted around a week with moderate to heavy usage. The coils are plug and pull, making it really easy to replace them.
The best thing about the Flexus Q kit is the cost. At just £19.99 for the whole kit – including spare coils – makes it cheaper than rivals like the Caliburn G2 without sacrificing on performance.
