Coil Connection: DIY Deck

These coils are designed to be used in an RTA, RDA or RDTA vape tank. They come in different coil types, including premade DIY coils or mesh strips.

Premade DIY coils are usually screwed into an RTA or RDA deck, which requires a screwdriver and is easy to do. Dual decks allow two separate coils to be screwed in, with four screws and holes to fit them. You can buy premade DIY coils to fit straight into an RDA or RTA, such as the Psycho Bunny Octopack which features 8 different types of DIY coils.

DIY mesh strips are usually slotted into an RDA or RTA deck, and don’t usually need to be screwed in. They are bent slightly into the deck, so that cotton can be inserted under the coil.
